This guy really is amazing. I could never be as good as him, but I will look to him for training tips for the dogs I work with. I am glad that he has emphasized the fact that breed does not necessarily dictate how the dog’s temperament will be. Also, that so-called “Dangerous” breeds (Rottweiler, pitbull etc) are not the problem, rather the people who have (intentionally or not) raised the dog to be aggressive, or just didn’t train the dog in the first place. We need more people like Cesar. <3

A consortium of 26 animal welfare organisations including the RSPCA, the Australian Veterinary Association, the Kennel Club and the British Veterinary Association, has written an open letter warning that Cesar Millan’s methods will lead to “pain and fear”, and are “not only unacceptable from a welfare perspective, but not necessary for the modification of dog behaviour”.
